Enspire Parent Cafe was born from a simple but powerful idea: that parents need a village too. Founded by a passionate mother who has walked the path of advocacy, resilience, empowerment and unwavering love for her children, Enspire Parent Cafe started as a grassroots effort to bring parents together in a safe, nurturing space.
Sheril Cooper, our founder, knows firsthand the challenges parents face — from navigating the educational system and mental health support to understanding the juvenile justice system. Her experiences as a parent, foster care survivor, and advocate inspired her to create a place where parents don’t have to feel alone.
In 2025, Enspire Parent Cafe planted its roots in Dayton, Ohio, as a grassroots movement to uplift, educate, and empower parents. Our mission is to build a community where parents can share their journeys, support one another, and find the resources they need to help their families thrive.
Our story is still being written, but every conversation, every parent, and every small victory adds a new chapter. At Enspire Parent Cafe, we believe that when parents feel supported, children flourish — and that’s a story worth telling.

We’ve begun to lay the foundation through local partnerships, community conversations, and early engagement with parents who need resources and support. Our focus is on mental health, educational advocacy, and juvenile system navigation — all with a parent-to-parent approach.
